I deconstructed and reassembled everyday bath sponges, using techniques of wrapping and layering to recreate the form of a tree—a symbol of vitality and growth. The soft, elastic texture of the bath sponge, once dismantled, reveals a sense of lightness and layered beauty. This piece explores how ordinary objects, when removed from their original functions, can be reinterpreted and given new forms and meanings. It also invites reflection on the flexibility and potential embedded within familiar materials.
